Grabbing the attention of the original Visodate from 1954, the Visodate series features a clean round case with a date window at 3 o’clock marker and a day/date window in some. In the case of Heritage Porto, the inspiration for the case is directly from a timepiece that was manufactured by Tissot in 1910 and the name is inspired by the Portuguese city after being declared the European Capital of Culture in 2001. Whereas, Heritage 1973 is inspired by the sports watch that was prominent during the 1970s and features a tachymeter on the outer flange of the dial complemented by a chronograph fitted inside a unique case. In another case of preserving robust watchmaking, Tissot decided to ingrain the Tissot Heritage Telemeter 1938 inside the collection. The telemeter on the dial is able to calculate the distance between two objects and was first invented in 1938. Similarly, the Tissot Heritage 1948 features the exact same dial that was featured in the chronographs crafted by the brand in 1948.
